Columbus North
International School
At Columbus North International School, sports are an opportunity for students to show the kind of maturity, hard-work, dedication, and perseverance that leads to both academic and athletic successes. A large percentage of our athletes are celebrated as Scholar-Athletes for maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or above during their athletic seasons.  The number of scholar athletes at Columbus North International School is directed attributed to our coaches' tireless work to instill a  strong student commitment to academics.

According to Ohio High School Athletic Association eligibility rules, students must pass five credit-bearing courses in a marking period to be eligible for athletics. According to district guidelines in the Columbus City League, students must also maintain a 2.0 GPA or above to maintain eligibility.

Non-9th grade high school students transferring in to Columbus North International School will be required to sit out a half-season of any sport they have previously participated in before resuming eligibility according to new OHSAA rules. All questions regarding eligibility should be directed to Athletic Director Lucas Tuggle via email ( or phone (614.365.4054).
All students competing in interscholastic athletics (including middle school student-athletes) must complete an annual physical examination and have their doctor fill out the official OHSAA physical examination form
